题 目:Integer Programming and Applications: An Increasing-Mapping Approach
主讲人:Chuangyin Dang Associate Professor, City University of Hong Kong
摘 要:
Integer programming is concerned with the efficient allocation of limited resources to meet desired objectives when values of some or all of the decision variables are restricted to be integers. It has many applications in economics and management. The versatility of applications of integer programming stems from the fact that in many practical problems, activities and resources are indivisible. Any decision problems having only a finite number of alternative choices can be formulated as integer programs. In this talk, several important applications of integer programming will be reviewed and recent development of an increasing-mapping approach to integer programming will be discussed.
