Abstract：

In this session on “Publishing in A Journals”, Professor Jeffrey Reuer will share insights and experiences on writing articles for top journals and managing the review process. The session will be interactive to discuss challenges in scholarly writing, strategies for publication, and ways to enhance effectiveness throughout the process. Professor Reuer is the Blake Family Endowed Chair in Strategic Management and Governance at the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University, where he is also the Area Coordinator. His research uses organizational economics to investigate firms’ external corporate development activities and growth options (e.g., strategic alliances, acquisitions, and initial public offerings). He is an Associate Editor at the Strategic Management Journal and a Consulting Editor at the Journal of International Business Studies. He has published widely in the field’s major journals and has received five best reviewer awards for his service. Professor Reuer was the first recipient of the Strategic Management Society’s Emerging Scholar Award. He is currently the Division Chair of the Business Policy and Strategy (BPS) Division of the Academy of Management. He was a program chair of the Strategic Management Society’s (SMS') international conference in Washington, DC and its conference in Guangzhou, China, and he was a co-founder of the Cooperative Strategies Interest Group. He is the Chief Grants Officer at the Strategy Research Foundation and serves on that organization’s Executive Committee.
