Dr. Dong Liu (PhD – University of Washington in 2011) is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior in the Ernest Scheller Jr. College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His research interests include creativity, turnover, event system theory, and international entrepreneurship with a particular focus on exploring the multilevel interface between individuals, teams, and organizations across cultures. His research has been published or forthcoming in theAcademy of Management Journal,Academy of Management Review,Journal of Applied Psychology,Personnel Psychology,Journal of Management, Academy of Management Best Paper Proceedings,Ivey Case Publishingand elsewhere. He has taught courses at different levels including organizational behavior (undergraduate), cross-cultural management (undergraduate and MBA), and advanced research methods (PhD).
He has received several recognitions for his research and teaching such as the Scholarly Achievement Award from the Human Resources Division of the Academy of Management, the Best Paper with International Implications Award from the Organizational Behavior Division of the Academy of Management, the Brady Family Award for Faculty Research Excellence and the Professor of the Year Award (Core Business Courses) from the Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology, and Ivey’s Ten Best Selling Cases from Ivey Case Publishing.
刘东,现任美国佐治亚理工大学施勒(Scheller)商学院助理教授。他2011年6月毕业于美国华盛顿大学(西雅图)福斯特(Foster)商学院,获得工商治理博士学位。他的重要钻研领域蕴含创造力、员工去职、创业、跨文化治理等。他的钻研成就已有多篇被颁发或接管于,Academy of Management Journal,Academy of Management Review,Journal of Applied Psychology,Personnel Psychology等A级治理学期刊。他已获得多个钻研或讲授沉要奖项。例如2015年美国佐治亚理工大学施勒(Scheller)商学院科研成就奖,2014年美国佐治亚理工大学施勒(Scheller)商学院主题课程年度教授奖、2013年美国治理学会(Academy of Management)人力资源分会学术成就奖、2012年美国治理学会(Academy of Management)组织行为分会优良国际论文奖、2011年美国华盛顿大学福斯特(Foster)商学院冬季学期优良讲授奖、2011-2012年度加拿大毅伟(Ivey)20大畅销案例奖等。在潜心进行治理学钻研之前,他曾从事影视文学创作,其文章被刊发、转载于青年文摘等文艺刊物。
