Caio Koch-Weser先生现任德意志银行集团副主席。他曾在德国进建经济学，在美国工作，于1999年就任德国财政部副部长（国务秘书）并任职至2005年11月。其间他掌管的工作蕴含国际金融（G-7代表），欧洲经济和金融事务，以及本钱市场、银行业务和保险。在2003-2005年，Koch-Weser先生担任欧盟财经委员会主席（该委员会由列国财政部副部长和央行副主席组成，协调筹备欧盟列国财长间的会议）。他还担任过德国联国金融服务监管局(BaFin)监督委员会主席。

在1973至1999年，Koch-Weser先生在华盛顿世界银行担任过多个职务，其中蕴含中国项目部主任（1980-86年），西非部主任（1986-1990年），财政副主管及掌管财政业务的董事（1990-91年），中东及北非地域副总裁（1991-95年），以及掌管运营的董事总经理和执行委员会成员（1996-1999年）。

他目前是德国Bertelsmann Foundation董事会成员，华盛顿彼得森国际经济钻研所(PI)理事，布鲁塞尔BRUEGEL（欧洲智库）董事会成员，印度能源及资源钻研所(TERI)董事会成员，以及欧洲鼎新中心(CER)董事会成员。

Speaker Bio:

Caio K. Koch-Weser serves as a Undersecretary of State of Federal Ministry of Finance. Mr. Koch-Weser served as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority. From 1999 to 2005, he was German Deputy Minister of Finance (State Secretary). His responsibilities included international finance (G-7 Deputy), European economic and financial affairs, as well as capital markets, banking and insurance. From 1973 to 1999, Mr. Koch-Weser was with the World Bank in Washington where he worked on Latin America, China, the Middle East and Africa and held a number of high-level positions, in particular serving as Managing Director Operations. Mr. Koch-Weser has been a Vice Chairman of Deutsche Bank AG since January 23, 2006. He has been Non-Executive Director of BG Group plc since November 2010. He served as a Member of the Advisory Board of IKB Deutsche Industry bank AG. He serves as Member of the Foundation Board of World Economic Forum. He serves as Director of Bruegel. He serves as a Member of Governing Council of The Energy and Resources Institute. He is a member of the Board of CER (Centre for European Reform) in London; and a member of the Advisory Board of SACE in Rome. He is a Visiting Professor at the Guanghua School of Management at Beijing University.
